What are Alerts?
The Alerts layer shows live air-raid, drone, and missile activity on the map for Ukraine and Russia. It's built from real detections and reports aggregated from public channels, refreshed roughly every minute, so the highlighted areas reflect what is currently being reported.

How the highlight works
When a region has an active alert, its oblast or raion boundary fills red on the map. Alerts are tracked at both levels — a region-wide alert highlights the whole oblast, while a more specific report highlights just the affected raion.

Threat icons
Within an active zone, icons mark the type of threat being reported — drones, missiles, and aircraft each have their own icon, placed at the approximate location of the report.

Alert details
Tap an alert icon or highlighted zone to open its details: the area name, current status, threat type, and every source report that contributed to it — including the original message and when it was posted.

Always on
Alerts aren't a layer you switch on or off, unlike Layers — you don't choose to enable them. Whenever there's an active alert, it appears on the map automatically, for as long as it stays active.
